Hunka & Friends commits to providing children with stories that have a purpose; teaching key characteristics through everyday situations with relatable characters. Sam's first story, Hunka Chunka Monkey Shapes Up tackles the issue of childhood obesity without being preachy through fun-loving characters and by promoting activity.
MISSION
Chatty Gatty Gator is now available and Lofty Lucky Giraffe will be published by the end of September! There will be many, many more new characters soon to follow.
We have now visited over 350 locations...schools, public and private and child care facilities in Texas, Georgia, and Colorado. Sam and his wife Christa have conducted 950 presentations to over 55,000 children.
There are many ways you can become a part of the mission of Hunka & Friends.
