Sam E Bromley is a graduate of Howard Payne University and a former Special Education teacher.  While sitting in the middle of the desert in Iraq, he reminisced about his favorite times of storytelling with his nephew, sons and students.  The first two characters, Hunka Chunka Monkey and Runka Dunka Donkey, were created while telling bedtime stories to his youngest son.  When he shared his stories with a bus load of military Aircraft Refuelers, their laughter confirmed his call to reach a wide audience of children - young and old.
